This appeal is aimed at recovering the $165,000 worth of festive foods that FoodBank has bought to deliver 10,000 hampers to needy families. These foods make up about 1/3rd of hamper items with the balance being generously donated by food companies.

Total retail value of these foods is about $1,000,000 giving a leverage of 6 to 1 for each dollar donated. I.e. your $1 donation provides $6 of value or support.

So far we have raised $61,000 so we are well on the way. Thank you for your help.
